On Giving Tuesday Easter Seals Nova Scotia is GIVING BACK!

We will be out and about in our community making cookie basket deliveries to our partners, donors, and supporters from 2017! The cookies are made in-house at New Leaf Enterprises, our skills and workplace training and social enterprise program for Nova Scotians with disabilities! On Giving Tuesday, Easter Seals Nova Scotia staff and New Leaf Enterprises staff and trainees will deliver the cookies together for a fun-filled day of saying THANK YOU!
We will also be partnering with Wilson's Home Heating giving out hugs in the community, for which Wilson's will donate $10.00 to Easter Seals Nova Scotia for each hug given.

McInness Cooper's Collective Social Responsibility Team will be matching all donations given up to $2500 designated for our Learn to Sledge Hockey Program. When making your donation, please select "Inclusive Sports" or note that it is designated for Sledge Hockey anywhere on your donation slip.

So, what is Giving Tuesday? On November 28th charities, companies and individuals join together to share commitments, rally for favourite causes, and think about others. This is a Canadian movement for giving and volunteering, taking place each year after Cyber Monday. This year's theme is Do Good Stuff! We know that Nova Scotians are good people who want to give back to their communities. Giving back can take many forms, including donations, sponsorship and volunteerism. Thank you to those who continue to "Do Good Stuff" throughout the year by finding ways to support Easter Seals Nova Scotia.

Easter Seals Nova Scotia is a not-for-profit organization and registered charity based in Halifax. We advocate for a barrier-free Nova Scotia and provide top-quality services promoting mobility, inclusion and independence for Nova Scotians with disabilities. We have served Nova Scotians with disabilities for several decades. Our office is in Halifax, although we help children, youth, and adults from Yarmouth to Cape Breton.

Consider making a donation to us at the link below or volunteering your time! For more information, contact Michelle MacMullin at [email protected] or (902) 453-6000 x 228.

Happy Giving Tuesday, Nova Scotia!
