ICEJ Canada

The International Christian Embassy Jerusalem was founded in 1980 as an evangelical Christian response to the need to comfort Zion according to the command of scripture found in Isaiah 40:1-2: "Comfort, comfort my people, says your God. Speak tenderly to Jerusalem...

For over 37 years the ICEJ has embarked upon a journey of giving comfort to Israel. This journey has involved deeds of compassion impacting virtually every town, village and city in some way through benevolence ministry.

ICEJ AID, the Embassy's social assistance arm touches the lives those most in need in Israel by contributing to projects across the nation in every sector of society. We fulfill our calling to comfort God's people by meeting the needs of children, elderly, disabled, new immigrants and needy families.

Your donations make all the difference, YOU are impacting the lives of Holocaust Survivors, making it possible for 8 Young Canadian Christian Leaders to go to Israel via the CISL scholarship and supporting the Christian Desk at Yad Vashem...Thank YOU!

Our 2017 Giving Tuesday Goal is $24,000.00

GOAL: $12,000.00

Our Eight Canadian Young Adult leaders returned from Israel transformed by their first time experience after two week hands-on Israel Tour with our ICEJ ARISE Int'l group. Our estate funding from Ruth Audrey Peer comes to an end July 2018 but for 5 years it has changed the lives of over 30 Young Christian leaders across Canada about Israel. Candidates apply early in the year and then selected on their merit. Rev. Adam Gabeli our ARISE Canada Young Adult (YA) Director, leads the team through monthly educational webinars in preparation and follow up after their experience. Each candidate came home changed and impacted for life as our ambassadors. Each year our goal is to provide scholarships for worthy young Christian leaders. Your donation would help keep the CISL alive for our YA's. A Bible student can read and teach from the Bible yet never visit the Land of the Bible. Something is wrong with this, don't you think?
Our goal is $12,000.00 which will provide...

·Provide 2-3 months of pre scholarship training for the recipients via online webinars
·Provide scholarships of approximately $3000 each for four young Christian leaders
·Provide 3 extra days in Israel for hands on advocacy training and experience with our Israeli friends.

GOAL $12,000.00

The Holocaust is a defining event in human history, which generated a credibility crisis of major proportions in our most basic assumptions about the nature of mankind, of society, of the modern state, and of our responsibility as individuals to take a stand against unjust suffering of innocent people everywhere.
Yad Vashem is best placed to help committed individuals to meet this challenge in an open, honest, and professional environment.  Yad Vashem’s International School for Holocaust Studies is offering senior pastors and ministry leaders a unique educational experience.  During a seminar in Israel the select group of about 25 participants experience world-class lectures, moving Holocaust survivor testimonies and an introduction to Israel. The week of the seminar includes Yom Ha Shoah, the Holocaust Memorial Day, which enables the participants to experience this unique event at Yad Vashem.
Dr. Susanna Kokkonen, is the Director, Christian Friend of Yad Vashem
International Relations Division. Our support of the Christian Desk is of immense importance to building bridges and understanding between Christians and Jews.

Our Goal of $12,000 will allow us to increase our support of the Christian Desk by $1,000 per month!

Our 2017 GIVING TUESDAY GOAL is $24,000.00!

Please help us to reach this goal, and thank you so much for your consideration and support!
