4-H Canada

For over 100 years, 4-H Canada has been one of the leading positive youth development organizations in Canada. 4-H Canada is comprised of 24,500 youth members, 7,700 adult volunteer leaders and staff across the country. Our goal is to help young Canadians “Learn to Do by Doing” in a safe, inclusive, and fun environment.

E. Ward Jones was an early leader and visionary in Canadian agriculture. He is fondly remembered for his integral role in the development of 4-H across Canada as co-founder of the precursor to 4-H clubs in Manitoba. In fact, he was posthumously honoured last week by being inducted into the Canadian Agricultural Hall of Fame.

Just as E. Ward Jones left a legacy for rural youth across Canada, 4-H supporters can also make a meaningful contribution by donating to our the Canadian 4-H Foundation endowment. Funds from the endowment support future national programs that ensure that our youth will continue to have the opportunity to develop into responsible, caring, and contributing leaders, leaders who are committed to positively impacting communities across Canada and around the world.

By making a tax-deductible donation to 4-H Canada’s Foundation endowment, you are having a meaningful impact on youth in Canada – now and for the future.
