Have you heard about Giving Tuesday? On November 28, 2017 Canadian charities, businesses, and individuals will come together for one simple purpose: to celebrate giving and volunteering. It’s an opportunity for all of us to balance our collective conscience by donating to organizations that we feel passionately about. We would love you to consider a gift to Fontbonne Ministries.

You can support our work providing welcoming and supportive communities anytime of the year but Giving Tuesday is a special day! This year, we have created a specific goal — to raise $5,000. Monies raised will be used in support of our programs that welcome isolated adults, giving them the opportunity to experience acceptance, hospitality and activities that nurture them in mind, body and spirit. Some of our wonderful programs include drop-ins, lectures, refreshments & socializing, exercise classes, arts and crafts and prayer sessions.

You can donate to this special campaign on or before November 28th online by clicking the "Donate Now" button at the bottom of this page, or visit our website at www.fontbonneministries.ca for more information. Cheques, made payable to Fontbonne Ministries, can be sent to:

Vickie McNally, Fontbonne Ministries
101 Thorncliffe Park Dr
Toronto ON   M4H 1M2

Donations of $20 and more will be eligible for a tax receipt.

Please indicate your support of our Giving Tuesday campaign with your donation. Thank you for joining us in working to foster community with those who need it most!

Fontbonne Ministries, Sisters of St. Joseph, Toronto, offers diverse programs that are welcoming and inclusive. The charity was founded in 2000 by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Toronto, a community of women who, through their compassionate presence, respond to various current social needs. Named after Sister Delphine Fontbonne, who came to Toronto with three other Sisters of St. Joseph in 1851, the ministries continue the Sisters’ tradition of nurturing community and assisting their neighbours. Our vision is to be a sustainable expression of the mission of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Toronto. Our ministries include:

Mustard Seed — providing life skills programs and fostering community for adults.
Village Mosaic — providing a community setting for socialization for seniors.
Faith Connections — generating spiritual growth and community for and with young adults.
Studio on the Hill — exploring creativity through clay, for children and adults.
In Good Company — visiting those isolated in their homes.
Fontbonne Place — creating a home for older, single women.
