Habitat for Humanity Ontario Gateway North

Habitat for Humanity Ontario Gateway North builds safe, decent, affordable houses and provides no-down-payment, no-interest mortgages to low-income families who would otherwise not be able to purchase their own homes. We are a hand up, not a hand out. To date, 35 homes have been built across the region, which includes North Simcoe, Orillia, Muskoka, Parry Sound, North Bay and Sudbury. Our mission is to mobilize volunteers and community partners in building affordable housing and promoting home ownership as a means of breaking the cycle of poverty. By working together, we can build homes and build hope! On Giving Tuesday, we ask that you support our Square Foot Campaign. $100 purchases the materials required for one square foot of a Habitat home. Build projects are currently underway in Penetanguishene, Gravenhurst, North Bay and Seguin Township. Builds are being planned for Orillia, Sudbury and Timmins. You can choose where you donate and every square foot counts! Your donation makes a difference in your community and in the lives of families in need.
