Hope for Korah

On Giving Tuesday, we are inviting people to donate towards Hope for Korah's project called 'Tuesday's Child' which is an newly formed emergency fund for people living in extreme poverty in the slums of Korah, Ethiopia.

 Who is Tuesday’s Child?
Tuesday’s Child is an individual of any age, male or female, who may or may not be already involved with our charity, Hope for Korah, but they live in the slum of Korah, Ethiopia, they are very poor and they have an emergency need that they cannot afford.

Tuesday’s Child’s emergency needs may involve temporary financial help for food, for medical attention, for transportation, or for any number of circumstances that arise from living in extreme poverty.

While Hope for Korah is committed to coming alongside children and families through our many holistic programs, we regularly come face to face with situations that are not funded, yet require immediate support. When urgent needs arise, having a reserve would be a tremendous help. Tuesday’s Child will be that ‘Reserve Fund’ for emergency situations.
Giving Tuesday is gaining momentum both here in Canada and the U.S., and this year it lands on December 1.  This is a day dedicated to giving back and it follows two of the largest shopping days, Black Friday and Cyber Monday.  Please give to help Tuesday’s Child in Korah, Ethiopia
