The Grocery Foundation

Food, it's abundant for some, scarce for others.
The reality is it has an affect on many aspects of our lives, including on our health and our capacity to excel.
There are many reasons children may go to school hungry. No matter the reason, here, at The Grocery Foundation, we're working to reduce the chance that a child at school is trying to learn on an empty stomach.
You may be among the many Canadians who choose to become actively involved in volunteering at local schools to support student nutrition programs.  And while that may not be possible for you, what IS possible on this #GIVINGTUESDAY is for you to join us as we work to Feed Better Futures through a donation to @groceryfndtn #Toonies4Tummies.
Research confirms, student nutrition programs are making an impact and helping children succeed! That's something to be incredibly motivated by as is knowing that when you donate to #Toonies4Tummies, 100 per cent of your donation goes to a local program in your community.
Together, let's continue to improve attendance, reduce suspensions, improve grades and help children realize their full potential.
