Case Study - How a GivingTuesday thank-you paid off

THE PLAN

At RMHCA, our Giving Tuesday plan was simple, to thank our entire network – donors, volunteers and loyal supporters, while launching our holiday appeal, moments that matter. On November 30th, an email including a thank you, a family story and impact numbers was sent to our network. We wanted to thank those who have helped to create “moments that matter” for Maritime families. This email also acted as a soft launch for our holiday appeal. We introduced the Arsenault family, who spent the holidays at the House in 2017, and teased upcoming holiday family stories. 

THE OUTCOME

RMHCA’s Giving Tuesday initiative raised over $7,500 through online donations on November 30th. We look forward to even further engagement with our donors, staff and volunteers next Giving Tuesday!
