Tapestry Foundation for Health Care

Tapestry Foundation for Health Care is a Vancouver-based charity raising money for hospitals and residences operated by Providence Health Care in Metro Vancouver. One of the sites we support is Mount Saint Joseph Hospital (MSJ) - a vital community hospital on Vancouver’s East Side.

The Surgical Program at MSJ is one of the hospital's busiest programs. On a typical day, more than 60 patients undergo an operation or special procedure. In a year, the program provides 16,000 surgeries and procedures. These range from operations to remove cancers or restore eyesight, to emergency procedures to diagnose and treat potentially serious health problems.

Just as patients rely on doctors for the best care possible, so do our surgical teams rely on sophisticated technology to support patient care. To help MSJ's Surgical Program keep up with new technology and take advantage of innovations in surgical care, Tapestry Foundation for Health Care is raising $880,000 to purchase new equipment.

Surgery is one of the most critical services that we can provide to our patients. DONATE on GIVINGTUESDAY and help bring vital equipment to the Surgical Program at MSJ.
