ArtReach is a non-profit organization that supports young people in creating and delivering community-based projects that address social issues, support the development of artistic skills, and help to build vibrant communities. The work we do engages youth from a variety of underserved populations who have experienced exclusion in Toronto, and who lack access to high quality, accessible arts programming.

A guiding principle of ArtReach is that funding needs to be accessible to youth directly, and should empower youth by placing ownership of projects in their own hands. ArtReach encourages youth to take the lead in defining what art means to them, and what resources they need to achieve their goals.

Through our granting program, ArtReach has distributed over $3.5 million dollars in grants to nearly 350 youth arts projects across Toronto. These projects have provided over $1 million in employment opportunities to thousands of youth, and have reached over 500,000 community members throughout the City and Province.
