Family Service Regina

Saskatchewan has the highest rate of domestic violence in Canada and November is national domestic violence awareness month. We've launched a new campaign that aims to End the Trend of Domestic Violence in Saskatchewan.

The #EndTheTrend campaign demonstrates local support for ending domestic violence in our province while also raising awareness and breaking down the barriers of stigma, silence, and shame by creating more of a safe and open dialog with the public about these issues.

And one way were doing that is, on Giving Tuesday, November 27th Family Service Regina is holding a Facebook event from 1:00pm-3:00pm, which is managed by victim services workers.  At that time anyone can reach out to us on the #EndTheTrend event page or private message the agency on messenger with any questionsthey may have about domestic violence.

We’ve launched this new campaign with the support of Uno Printing Co. who generously sponsored our “Hug. Don’t Hurt.” T-shirts. Pattison Outdoor Advertising who sponsored our billboards and Andrea Norberg Photography.  When you visit the website and purchase a hug don’t hurt tee 100% of the proceeds are being donated directly to Family Service Regina’s victim services Workshops and groups.
