International Schizophrenia Foundation

The ISF is a non-profit, charitable organization federally chartered in 1968, dedicated to raising the level of diagnosis, treatment and prevention of schizophrenia and allied disorders. Our Mission: To enable people with schizophrenia and other mental illnesses to lead healthy, independent lives by educating public and professional communities about the importance of nutrition for the prevention and treatment of mental health issues. Your generous support helps us to: 1) Promote awareness about the essential roles played by diet, nutrition and orthomolecular medicine in treating and maintaining mental health. 2) Educate over 5,000 people annually on how to use diet, nutrition and the orthomolecular approach to promote mental health, manage illness and reduce symptoms for themselves and loved ones. 3) Train the next generation of health care professionals in the appropriate use of diet and supplements in the prevention and treatment of chronic disease.
