We respond to those who may have experienced disaster in their lives by providing basic human needs. We work for peace and justice. We stand with those who have been violated or oppressed. We are committed to non-violent peacemaking, including loving those who might be considered enemies. We look at the root causes of problems and then work on solutions. How do we do that? Well, in many cases we are going to be hands on. So, we make a blanket or assemble a kit for humanitarian aid or assist in food or blanket distribution in affected areas. We work and partner with individuals, local churches and community groups to support them. We try to connect people from all walks of life. Why? We exist to share God's love and compassion. We seek to live and proclaim the good news of reconciliation in Jesus Christ. We are believers of the Christian faith, called to follow Jesus
