White Rock South Surrey Hospice Society

White Rock South Surrey Hospice Society is a non-profit, volunteer organization which provides professional and compassionate end-of-life care and grief support for the dying and their loved ones. We complement the health care system by offering emotional support services in addition to its medical and physical care services. To ensure that no one in the community has to be alone during death or grief we offer our services free of charge. We currently have 367 active volunteers who annually provide over 28,400 hours of unpaid service, as well as 1,433 hours of clinical counselling. We operate within a dilapidated and unsafe building which we have outgrown. In 2015 alone, we directly served 1,600 clients and reached an additional 627 community members through educational outreach. Our new Supportive Care Centre can fulfil all our current and future needs.
Help us in Building a Home for Hope...invest in a lasting legacy for the Communities of White Rock and South Surrey.
