YWCA Canada

On #GivingTuesday, YWCA Canada is encouraging everyone to support women, girls, Two-Spirit, gender diverse people, and their families in the fight to end Gender-Based Violence.

We cannot do this without you!

We believe that ending gender-based violence is PAST DUE! We need everybody to get involved in raising awareness and funds for violence prevention programs that are essential when it comes to ending the cycle of violence for the future generation and ensuring that survivors have the resources they need to rebuild their lives.

This has been a challenging year for many people, and the World Health Organization has reported that Gender-Based Violence cases have drastically increased during the pandemic. #WEWONTWAIT for this to get worse. We need to stop Gender-Based violence today!

How can you take action to support our cause to End Gender-Based Violence?

Donate to our national initiatives to help women and girls escape violence, move out of economic inequality and access safe, affordable housing, childcare, provide training and guidance to women and girls, and provide leadership programs.

Advocate for systemic change and to expand the access to rights for women, girls, Two-Spirit and gender diverse people.
