ALS Society of Saskatchewan Inc.

Over the past year the ALS Society has served over 75 people with ALS and provided over 100 pieces of equipment in support to the families who need them.

The ALS Society staff conducts home visits to lend support and stays in touch by phone with families affected by ALS. Individuals with ALS and their family's request help in finding information about ALS, and in accessing equipment, home care, and other services. Families also seek help in advocacy on their behalf. Our health care system is complex and often difficult to navigate even by those who work within it. The ALS Society strives to be a central place for obtaining information relevant to ALS services available to those affected by ALS.

The ALS Society also supports local research to help find paths to a cure for this disease. We do this by sponsoring local research on a local level as well as by supporting ALS Canada who is designated as our research arm in Canada.

We encourage everyone to support us in any way they can. The office staff are more than happy to discuss ways in which we can be supported. Contact them at 306-949-4100.
