Being a caregiver is hard work.
It means…taking unpaid time away from work.
It means…balancing caregiving duties with parenting duties.
It means…not sleeping at night when you are so, so exhausted.
It means…setting aside your own needs, your own health, your own well-being.
It means…no vacation days; and sometimes, no lunch breaks.
It means…doing everything you can for the person who did it all for you.
The demands are heavy; but there is help.
On Tuesday November 29, let’s give our caregivers a Caregivers’ Day Off! You can show your support by taking a minute of your time to raise funds for a day for them. Every dollar raised will go to programs in your local community and help give our dedicated caregivers a well-deserved break.
