B'nai Brith Camp (BB Camp)

B'nah Brith Camp (BB Camp) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide a fun, supportive, and inclusive Jewish environment in which youth can explore, grow and mature. Campers are provided opportunities to develop independence, foster lasting friendships, and strengthen their identities within a natural wilderness setting. BB Camp is committed to making sure that every camper leaves with wonderful memories that will last a lifetime.

BB facilitates both a residential camp for youth between the ages of seven - 16 years and a day camp program for children between the ages of four - 13 years and a CIT program for 14 and 15 year olds. The Camp also offers outdoor education programs during the months of May and June and late August including the Winnipeg Boys and Girls Club program Camp YAA and the Canadian Diabetes Association's Camp Briardale.

Every year we raise funds through the Annual Support Campaign to provide Camperships to those families in financial need. No amount is too small to make Camp a reality. Our goal is to help children who would otherwise not be able to experience all that BB Camp has to offer, get to Camp. We provide children with a safe and nurturing environment, where they are able to develop positive relationships, achieve personal goals, and embark upon new endeavors.

Last year, donors’ generous gifts helped ensure that no child’s financial situation prevented them from participating in programs at BB Camp — over 80 children were awarded scholarships to take part in our resident Camps, AC and LTP.

Funding is also needed to help replace old camping equipment to ensure we maintain safe, durable equipment for our programs. Annually, funding is needed to update canoes, tents, rucksacks and other recreational equipment. Your financial support is greatly appreciated.

We hope we can count on your assistance to ensure that we can give the gift of Camp!
