Human greed, irresponsible breeding and lack of resources or education in responsible pet ownership are only a few of the many factors that have contributed to shelters that are bursting at the seams with unwanted, abandoned, abused, neglected and stray dogs, many of whom will be euthanized if they aren't rescued. At BUTTONNOSES, we are passionately committed to saving the lives of senior and special needs tiny dogs who are at risk of losing their homes or their lives. We happily rescue the dogs that other shelters or people won't accept because of their age or the severity of their medical issues. BUTTONNOSES provides funding for medical procedures and other expenses for the tiny, homeless furry dog-babies in our foster and palliative care program. This year, BUTTONNOSES created Marvin’s Legacy Foundation, named after our dearly departed pup, Marvin, a 14-year old rescue - who was the saddest and most upsetting case of neglect that we've ever seen. The goal for Marvin's Legacy Foundation is to raise $10,000 before July 19, 2019 (which would have been Marvin’s 15th birthday). All of the funds raised by the foundation will be used by BUTTONNOSES to provide shelter, veterinary care, food and, of course, lots and lots of love to as many tiny babies as possible. Your GivingTuesday donation will help us expand our efforts and save EVEN MORE senior and special needs tiny dogs. All of us at BUTTONNOSES and the tiny pups that you're helping us to save, appreciate your generosity more than you'll ever know. Thank you from all of us!
