Carpenter Hospice

Carpenter Hospice has been a vital part of the Burlington community for the last 15 years. Over 2,300 individuals have spent their final days in our care since we first opened our doors in 2002. Since opening, our programs have expanded to include community-based programs for people dealing with grief or a life-limiting illness.

We are about to celebrate a milestone with the construction of a new resident care wing and renovation of our existing facility.

The “Making Room Project” will greatly enhance the services we provide to individuals in need of end-of-life care. Phase one will see the construction of new state-of-the-art resident rooms which will enhance comfort, access to the outdoors, and provide families with more private spaces. In phase two, we will repurpose our existing structure to support our growing community outreach programs.

Donations can be made to Carpenter Hospice in support of their programs and services, as well as towards the Making Room Project. To learn more about how you can make a meaningful contribution to the Hospice, please visit or contact the Development Office at 905.631.9994 ext. 118.
