College of the North Atlantic (CNA) Student Emergency Fund

CNA Student Emergency Fund to the rescue!

College of the North Atlantic’s (CNA) Student Emergency Fund has been in place for the past two years, with the primary purpose of assisting students across its 17 campuses, as well as those enrolled in the Distance Learning programs.

Students face emergencies every day, and this is where CNA’s Student Emergency Fund has played a vital role in getting them through a tough spot.

The degree of students’ needs are diverse, as are the emergency situations they encounter: losing everything in a fire, books stolen out of a car, emergency medical treatment, or maybe just putting food on the table. Whatever the emergency, CNA has a dedicated team of counsellors, administrators and student supports ready to help!

This year, on Tuesday, November 27, we again ask that you support our students by giving to the Giving Tuesday campaign – donations can be accepted online. Students, staff and faculty are asked to have a look for the Student Emergency Fund Giving Tuesday campaign on all campuses and they are encouraged to give. The Giving Tuesday campaign can also be found on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

The donation you make can help a student you know. We, at CNA, are truly thankful.
