Dave Smith Youth Treatment Centre Foundation

The Dave Smith Youth Treatment Centre (DSYTC) opened in 1993 as a day treatment program for youth struggling with drug and alcohol addiction. In 2010, the DSYTC transformed to become the only non-profit, residential and post-residential treatment care facility in Eastern Ontario dedicated to helping Anglophone youth (13-21) and families across Ontario overcome substance abuse and mental health challenges to achieve a healthier lifestyle. The DSYTC Foundation was established in 2012 to support the fundraising needs of the Dave Smith Youth Treatment Centre. Specifically, our goal over the next few years is to raise $5M to build a new home that will fully integrate all treatment programs (assessment, residential treatment, assertive continuing care treatment and parent education) to one location and increase the number of youth served.
