Support the Fort

Our Vision
To create and promote an internationally acclaimed living history experience.

Our Mission
The Fort Edmonton Foundation celebrates Edmonton's vivid, diverse history by fundraising in support of the development of capital projects in Fort Edmonton Park.

About Our Charity
The Fort Edmonton Foundation was founded in 1969 by a group of community leaders, several of them Rotarians, who were interested in establishing a visible memorial to the origins of the City of Edmonton.

Fort Edmonton Park is Canada’s largest living history experience, and a key part of the cultural and recreational makeup of Edmonton. It is owned by the City of Edmonton, operated by the Fort Edmonton Management Company and relies on the Fort Edmonton Foundation for its Capital Campaign funding.

We have four exciting Capital Projects which we are focusing our fundraising efforts towards: The Indigenous Peoples' Experience; The 1920s Midway Expansion; The Expansion of the Hotel Selkirk: Windsor & Albion Block; and a new Front Entryway and Plaza. Click here for more information.

Every gift counts. Please help us build history!
