Giving Tuesday Waterloo Region

GivingTuesday Waterloo Region will tap into community advocates, partners and leaders to encourage everyone to give what they can – whether it’s time, goods, or funds – on November 27, 2018. The more awareness is created, the more giving activity will take place. Our Region will rely on three ingredients to be successful:

1. People talking to people – Everyone is encouraged to advocate and promote Giving Tuesday Waterloo Region using their contacts and connections, particularly on social media. Posts, tweets/retweets with a single message, a single hashtag and a single purpose will bring the networks of many to one convenient giving platform. Remember to use the hashtag #givingtuesdayWR, visit facebook.com/GivngTuesdayWR and follow us @givingtuesdaywr.

2. Partners joining together - Sign up as our partner on this site so we can help promote your campaign and activities to help you receive maximum exposure, and so that you can access all of Giving Tuesday.ca's tools and tips.

3. A supportive community – Waterloo Region is truly a giving community. With more than 500,000 residents, there is a lot of charitable potential.

Contact givingtuesday.wr@gmail.com if you'd like to help with the local Waterloo Region movement or if you are a non-profit or local business looking to participate in Giving Tuesday.
