Grandview Children's Foundation

Inspiring possibilities for children and youth with special needs

Grandview Children's Foundation raises funds to support Grandview Children's Centre and its education partner, Campbell Children's School.

Grandview Children's Centre is an independently operated not-for-profit organization, and the only children's treatment centre in Durham Region, Ontario, Canada providing specialized programs and outpatient clinical treatment to children and youth with special needs from birth to age 19 with physical and/or developmental disabilities, such as cerebral palsy and autism, as well as kids with speech-language and other delays.

The paediatric experts at Grandview Children's Centre provide assessment, diagnosis, treatment and more to 5,000 Grandview Kids and their families every year, but 2,000 more kids are waiting to receive service from Grandview - and that number is expected to increase by 31% over the next 20 years. Grandview's headquarters in Oshawa was built in 1983 to serve 400 kids. Support from the community is needed to ensure the earliest possible access to treatment for kids with special needs, and to help Grandview build a new facility to meet the needs of children and youth with special needs in Durham Region both now and in the future.
