Central Alberta Gives

Habitat for Humanity Red Deer Region Society

Everyone deserves a decent place to live and, everyone can do something today to help make that possible for another family. How will you choose to give? Whether it is giving time through volunteering or participating in a team build, giving your voice through advocacy in the community, giving expertise or leadership on a committee or our Board of Directors, or giving a donation of money or materials, everyone can get involved.

Show us how you support our community by posting your #UNselfie to social media using the hashtag #centralabgives throughout the month of November, leading up to GivingTuesday on November 28, 2017.

The ReStore is a social enterprise that funds the operation of Habitat for Humanity Red Deer. All items in the ReStore are donated. All proceeds from the ReStore fund our programs and stay within Central Alberta. Your donations and purchases help local homeowners achieve the strength, stability, and self-reliance they need to build better lives for themselves and their families.

We are always looking for eager and passionate individuals to join our growing team of volunteers. The following volunteer opportunities are available: ReStore Customer Service and General Labour, Construction General Labour or Food Service, Marking and Administration, Events and Community Engagement.  We encourage businesses, teams, community groups, or groups of friends and family to get involved. What better way to learn the value of team building, co-operation and leadership skills than by volunteering with your peers? Groups can volunteer in any capacity they choose. From volunteering on a build site or in the ReStore to lending your expertise, equipment, or facility to a project. For more information visit: habitatreddeer.ca/get-involved
