hub14 art + performance works

hub14 is an artist-run live arts incubator and presenter. Our focus is interdisciplinary work as seen through the lens of independent contemporary performance. Founded in 2004 as a dance studio co-op, hub14 officially incorporated the summer of 2009. With our 2014/15 season, hub14 celebrates its 10th anniversary. hub14 has become an important part of Toronto’'s arts community, a home to performances, workshops, rehearsals and classes by some of the city’'s most exciting creators. This year, we will support 6 artists/collectives through fully or partially subsidized residencies from creation to presentation. Our 2014/15 residents are: Lucy Rupert, Kate Alton, the [elephants] collective. Our Gallery Series participants include: Benjamin Kamino and Virgil Baruchel and Craig Chambers. International Resident Artists are Angelle Peters and Pierre Enaux. hub 14 is led by co-Artistic Directors Marie Fance Forcier, Kate Nankervis, Aria Evans and Andrew Gaboury. With the tremendous support of the Board of Directors: Andrew Hartley, Jessica Whitford and Helen Yung.
