Mississauga Heritage Foundation (Heritage Mississauga)

Heritage Mississauga supports local food bank Deacon’s Cupboard during #GivingTuesday.

Heritage Mississauga, a local Mississauga charity has joined the global movement #GivingTuesday to support our local food bank: Deacon’s Cupboard. This program is offered by St. Peter’s Church Erindale in conjunction with Erindale United, Erindale Presbyterian, St. Thomas A. Becket Anglican and Erin Mills United. Deacon’s Cupboard provides low income families with nutritious food, as well as programs that help address hunger and poverty. Heritage Mississauga is excited to promote #GivingTuesday on all our social media networks.

Starting on Giving Tuesday, Heritage Mississauga will accept non-perishable food donations at their office in the Robinson – Adamson House “The Grange” (1921 Dundas Street West, Mississauga, ON) until December 15th.

We welcome visitors on Tuesday December 5, 2017 for our Holiday Open House from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. During the event there will be free refreshments, holiday cheer and carolling around our campfire.

Heritage Mississauga has supported the Mississauga community for over 57 years researching, recording and celebrating local heritage. To learn more about the organization please visit our website at: www.heritagemississauga.com.
