North Fraser Therapeutic Riding Association

This GivingTuesday we are raising funds towards our goal of $4,300 to purchase a new Fjord: On October 28, 2018, at the age of 22, we lost our dear friend, co-worker and equine therapist, 'Orion' to Colic. Orion was a key piece of the therapeutic riding puzzle at the North Fraser Therapeutic Riding Association and will be dearly missed by many. For 16 years, Orion cared for each and every one of his riders by not passing judgement; only unconditional love. He taught many program participants the skills needed to ride and care for horses, but more importantly, through riding, he encouraged them to be independent, happy, and confident individuals. The Fjord breed is ideal for therapeutic riding because of their size, temperament and sturdy build. Fjords are truly worth their weight in gold. Please help us raise the $4,300 necessary to purchase another Norwegian Fjord in Orion's Legacy. Our puzzle is missing a piece...
