Stanley Park Ecology Society

Bird populations across North America have seen significant changes to their habitat in recent years. For many species, this has meant a loss of their food, shelter and nesting sites. The Stanley Park Ecology Society is constructing, installing and monitoring nest boxes for tree swallows, violet green swallows, and wood ducks around Beaver Lake and Lost Lagoon. Each nest box we build in Stanley Park provides valuable habitat for these vulnerable species, allowing them a place to nest in safety away from predators.

Help us help wildlife by supporting our bird habitat enhancement project:

A gift of $30  builds and installs a nestbox in the Park
A gift of $75  builds a nest box and supports our swallow monitoring intiatives
A gift of $200  funds a nest box building workshop for the public
