The Need:
While many parents look forward to spending the holiday season with their children filled with celebration and relaxation, more and more parents must work during the holidays to provide for their families. Many parents work one or two jobs, and quality childcare is just not an option.  For their children, the holiday season becomes a stressful and often isolating time, without the social stimulation and structure of the regular school day. 

How You Can Help this #GivingTuesdayCA:
Theatre Direct has paired with the stop community food centre, to offer a solution for families in need. Many of these families do not have the financial ability to send their children to arts camps and after school programs.

The cost to attend our Winter Holiday Camp is $300 per child. On December 1st, we’re hoping to raise $3,000 – this will cover 100% of the costs for 10 children to attend our Winter Holiday Camp.

With a minimum donation of $30, it won’t take long to reach our goal! Your gift is also completely tax deductible. 

It is our hope that together, we can give a wonderful gift to families this holiday season. Let’s give Mom and/or Dad one less expense to worry about, and the child an experience of a lifetime
